Mrs. Khadija Ibtihaj is the Head of Marketing, Industry & Alumni Liaison and Lecturer at Al Rayyan International University College (ARIU), in partnership with the University of Derby. She lectures in both Hospitality and Tourism Management and serves as the Industry Liaison between the university and organisations inside and outside Qatar, fostering cooperation and partnerships with various industries. Mrs. Ibtihaj also coordinates keynote speeches and guest lectures delivered by high-caliber professionals from different sectors. In addition, she serves as the Alumni Liaison, overseeing alumni affairs. With over 25 years of experience in hospitality, she also conducts short courses on various subjects related to the field.
Prior to joining the university, Mrs. Ibtihaj held several managerial positions in the hospitality sector across Qatar, the UAE, and Morocco. She contributed to the launch of major hotel chains, establishing departments, designing processes, and recruiting and training employees. Throughout her career, Mrs. Ibtihaj has successfully managed and developed both businesses and personnel.
