As HR Coordinator / Office Manager at Al Rayyan International University College (ARIU) in partnership with the University of Derby, Mrs. Hornido partners with executive management to assess employee needs and supports the achievement of the university’s objectives. She is responsible for overseeing operational human resource management functions, including support for the development of employment policies and procedures, preparation and execution of employment contracts, performance management, interpretation of employment legislation, recruitment, and contributing to the HR aspects of annual business plans. Furthermore, she provides general administrative support to the Executive Dean, liaises with stakeholders, assists in planning and organising university events, conducts research, and supports in preparing presentations, reports, and documentation.
Before joining ARIU in 2015, she gained over twelve years of experience in the fields of recruitment, employee relations and discipline, and client management across three companies in diverse industries.
Mrs. Hornido holds an MBA Global degree from the University of Derby, and a BSc Degree in Psychology from the University of San Carlos in the Philippines.
