Dr. Nair, Associate Professor of Finance & Accounting at Al Rayyan International University College (ARIU) in partnership with University of Derby has a doctorate in Management in the areas of Financial Accounting and Industrial Economics from the Banasthali University (Accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade status) and master’s degree in Commerce, International Business and Business Administration from India. He has over eighteen years of teaching, research, and administrative experience in India and Qatar, having worked as Associate Professor and Program Leader of International Hospitality Management at Stenden University Qatar, Senior Lecturer in Commerce and Business Administration at CMS Group of Institutions in India. Dr. Nair has taught various finance courses, including principles of finance, corporate finance, and investments, to undergraduate and masters’ students. He enjoys teaching classes that help students to understand how companies make financial decisions, and how individuals can make wise financial decisions to achieve major financial goals. His research interests are in corporate finance, investment, financial planning, and financial economics. Dr. Nair research has been published in high-quality peer-reviewed journals including International Journal of Hospitality Management, International Journal of Revenue Management, Journal of Hospitality Financial Management, and others. He is also a member of the Board of International Examiners for adjudicating the Ph.D thesis at various universities in India. Dr. Nair was one of the Principal Investigators on NPRP research projects funded by QNRF in collaboration with Stenden University Qatar and Edinburgh Napier University, UK.
