1.   COURSE OVERVIEW

This three-day course aims at providing an introduction to the Human Resource Management (HRM). The course will also offer an insight into current challenges in attracting, retaining, training, developing, compensating, engaging and committing employees in a highly competitive and global environment. This course will train participants how to manage the important human resources who provide services within any operation. They’ll learn how to fulfill the requirements of Qatar employment and workplace laws, and discover the latest strategies for attracting employees, minimizing turnover, and maximizing productivity. The course reflects changing economic conditions and industry trends.

This program has been specifically designed to provide a background in Human Resource Management (HRM) for newly appointed HR practitioners from all industries, as well as those wishing to extend and update their knowledge in the basics of HRM and Human Resource Development (HRD).

• Describe the issue of labour turnover within the hospitality industry and its impact
