The management and governance of ARIU is overseen by the Board of Governors. The University’s Board of Governors is chaired by H.E. Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani, who is the founder and owner of the University.
The Board of Governors (BOG) provides advice, governance and recommendations concerning all matters related to Al Rayyan International University College (ARIU and is specifically in charge of determining and defining the vision, mission and goals of the institution; assessing periodically the institutional performance in light of the mission and goals; ensuring that there is adequate institution-wide, short-term and long-term planning to attain the institutional goals; establishing, reviewing, and approving major changes in the educational programme portfolio of the institution consistent with its mission; ensuring that the institution is compliance with laws and regulations and approving key policies and procedures; overseeing and approving the budget of the institution and establishing policy guidelines for relevant budgetary controls; representing the external world to the institution and the institution to the external world and acting as ambassadors of ARIU, which involves championing the University’s mission and identifying individuals who are willing to endorse it;
