1.   COURSE OVERVIEW

This 2 months course (in total 8 weeks and 32 hours) is a good introduction towards basics in Arabic language. During this course students will learn the Arabic alphabet, to be able to read and write basic words and sentences, reading street signs, basic introducing, talking about family and country in a simple way, understanding others who speak basically in Fusha, and describing the weather in short phrases. Each class will include an interactive session were students will listen and respond to audio, hence improving their speech and developing their Arabic recognition skills.

2.   WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Those interested in basic conversation in Arabic language, starting recognizing the Arabic alphabet and basic writings. No knowledge of Arabic language is expected. An essential prerequisite for participation is to obtain the textbook “Alif Ba-a”, before the course starts. The book is available to purchase online.
