Ms. Sabika Kizilbash is a Lecturer at Al Rayyan International University College (ARIU) in partnership with the University of Derby. Prior to joining ARIU, she had worked as a Project Officer for UCL-Qatar. Ms. Kizilbash started her career as a Junior Lecturer at Stenden University – Qatar and has experience of working in project management, lecturing, research, events management, museums, and exhibitions. She is an expat, brought up in Qatar and is well versed with the local culture and traditions. Her educational background comprises of a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a Major in Tourism Management from Stenden University – Qatar and a Master’s in Arts in Museum and Gallery Practice from University College of London – Qatar.
Ms. Kizilbash is extremely enthusiastic about events management and its progression and development in Qatar. She has worked for the Doha 2006 Asian Games and will be volunteering for the FIFA 2022 World Cup. Her interest in events management does not only restrict to her professional career but in her spare time she organises various events for her children’s school with a team of other resolute mothers. She is part of their Parent School Association and Board and throughout the year they organise several events, many of which support organisations and charities for Cancer and Diabetes.
